The project aimed to create an abattoir capable of slaughtering 10 large animals an hour to HACCP standards, targeting the EU and Middle East markets.

The commission involved close collaboration with the German-based supplier of equipment and the adoption of provided specifications to local standards and building methods.

The brief included Lairage, Slaughterhouse, Processing, Rendering Plant, Workshops and Administrative Units. It also included staff facilities, an electrical sub-station, stores, and ancillary service areas.
